YouTube Embedded Video: Multiplication Rap
This video teaches the two multiplication facts with a rap to a group of students. Do you think this strategy will better help students to retain their multiplication facts better than traditional rote memorization? Should multiplication facts be taught to mastery or is it better to teach students how to simply come up with the correct answers? Please response with a comment.

I like this. I believe this method is good. Most time we do not remember our first sentence we wrote in 1st grage but we do remember the nursery rhymes...hickory dickory ___, the mouse ran up the ______. I believe the students should learn the basics but be able to get the correct answers. There are different means to an end.
